We are very proud of our court reporters. All are licensed California Certified Shorthand Reporters. Going beyond holding a CSR license, our reporters belong to the National Court Reporters Association and have pursued their continuing education by obtaining national certifications such as Registered Professional Reporter, Registered Merit Reporter, Registered Diplomat Reporter and Certified Realtime Reporter. Over the years, the California and National speedwriting competition has seen more than a few of our reporters ranked in the top ten.

Exhibit Services and Document Handling
In the document intensive legal world in which we live, it is important that all your documents are carefully maintained, scanned, stored, and made easily searchable, which is why Combs Reporting is keeping up with the paperless and electronic data revolution.

Documents received in our office as exhibits are scanned, digitized and electronically stored. If documents are lost or misplaced, copies can be replicated quickly and efficiently.

Exhibit Handling
Indexed exhibits are included with every transcript. Additionally, an electronic version of exhibits will be provided on a CD or DVD. Synchronizing exhibits with the transcript and video with hyperlinks and bookmarks are also available upon request. For complex litigation, a master index of sequentially numbered exhibits from all depositions can be maintained in convenient binders for easy reference.

Interpreters
Having a quality interpreter who can interpret in the first person is imperative. Our interpreters have extensive experience working with court reporters, attorneys, and the court. Combs Reporting can provide interpreters in most languages. Our interpreters come highly recommended and many are court certified.

Using realtime, attorneys or paralegals can view testimony instantaneously. Video Conferencing
We understand that due to time constraints it is not always possible to fly cross country or around the world to meet with clients, which is why we offer video and web conferencing. Video conferencing can be used for depositions, witness and trial presentation, interviews, meetings, settlement conferences, mediations, and arbitrations. So now you can meet with your client in Tokyo at 1:00 P.M. and still be home in time for dinner by 6:00 P.M. You can slash travel costs, which are savings that you can pass along to your client.

Our video conferencing technology services range from state-of the-art high quality broadcasting to simple web-conferencing.

Trial Presentation
Trial display and video can be very powerful tools for presenting your case in the most favorable light, such as showing exhibits on a video or computer monitor while the witness is testifying.

Only 3-chip "professional broadcast quality" cameras utilizing SMPTE time code are used to automatically synchronize with the reporter's transcript. This synchronization can save thousands of dollars when it comes time to prepare for trial.

Trial presentation consultants offer expert assistance in assembling audio, video, and text from depositions, exhibits, and other evidence. We'll help you develop your presentation, from discovery through trial.

Exhibits can be imaged for courtroom presentation by our highly skilled trial technology and graphic experts. These exhibits can be merged, modified, summarized or redacted by the litigants as necessary using a variety of software applications including Trial Director, Sanction and more.
